One short comment on Joel Timonn's latest attack on meat.
Distinguished Harvard University professor of Public Health Walter Willett is a vegetarian, so I feel that his objectivity about meat in our dietary guideline is more than a little skewed.
I wish the meat industry had the power to quash reports that crucify it. In the 38 years that I have been a pork producer I sure haven't had the opportunity to witness any of it.
I much prefer my saturated fats to the trans fats that still are incorporated into many of our processed foods.
