If you want to know how things are going for the Jefferson City boys basketball team the past couple days, the answer is simple.
“Better, better, better,” Jays coach David Fox said as his team prepared to open the Class 5 District 9 Tournament today at Fleming Fieldhouse.
The Jays (11-13) who are the second seed in the event and will face third-seeded Sedalia Smith-Cotton (14-12) at 7:15 p.m., started the season with several injuries, and the fun didn’t stop there.
