Jefferson City lists sales tax projects in cooperation with county

The Jefferson City Council wants to work with Cole County.

At Monday night's council meeting, members approved a resolution to allow for the appropriation of the city's Sales Tax F for joint projects with the county, pending voter approval of the sales tax.

The city would pay for $5.5 million of the $11 million total price tag as would county, which would use funds from its 1⁄2-cent sales tax.
