MANCHESTER, Mo. (AP) — A tow truck has struck and killed a teenager who was crossing a busy highway in suburban St. Louis.
Police identified the victim as 17-year-old Alexander Harvey Springsteen.
He was struck Friday evening as he was crossing Highway 41 in Manchester. The teen was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that no charges have been filed against the tow truck driver.
