LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) - Casey Morris scored 13 points to lead Texas Tech to a 56-45 win over top-ranked Baylor on Saturday.
Fans swarmed the court to celebrate the win, the Lady Raiders' second over a Top 25 team in the past week. The win avenged a loss in Lubbock last year when Brittney Griner was ejected for punching a Texas Tech player.
This was the first time a No. 1 team lost to an unranked since Jan. 26, 2006, when Kentucky beat top-ranked Tennessee 66-63.
Griner finished with 15 points and six rebounds to lead Baylor (24-2, 11-1 Big 12).
Texas Tech (19-7, 6-6) led most of the game, going ahead 52-37 with 5:23 left when Kierra Mallard hit a jumper in the lane.
No. 2 Connecticut 78, No. 8 Notre Dame 57
STORRS, Conn. (AP) - Bria Hartley scored a career-high 29 points to help No. 2 Connecticut win its 14th straight since its 90-game winning streak ended at Stanford on Dec. 30.
Maya Moore added 12 points, seven rebounds and seven assists for the Huskies (26-1, 13-0 Big East), who will likely move back to No. 1 on Monday because top-ranked Baylor lost earlier in the day.
Skylar Diggins scored 22 points and Natalie Novosel added 18 to lead No. 8 Notre Dame (22-5, 11-2), which had its nine-game winning streak end. The Irish had won every game during the streak by at least 15 points and had a week to prepare for this game.
No. 5 Texas A&M 76, Oklahoma St. 67
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) - Danielle Adams scored 24 points and No. 5 Texas A&M outlasted Oklahoma State.
The score was tied 54-all with about 5 minutes remaining before Texas A&M (22-3, 10-2 Big 12) scored 11 straight points. Sydney Colson scored the first five points in that run and Adams capped it with a jump shot with about 2 minutes left.
The Aggies were up by as many as 16 points in the first half before Oklahoma State (15-10, 3-9) took the lead midway through the second period. Texas A&M had trouble feeding Adams down low and was cold from outside for most of the second half to allow the Cowgirls to hang around until the late run.
Oklahoma State was led by Toni Young's 23 points and 17 rebounds.
No. 14 Oklahoma 91, Texas 62
NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - Whitney Hand scored 23 points, Aaryn Ellenburg had 21 and No. 14 Oklahoma rebounded from its worst defeat in nearly 33 years with its largest win against Texas.
Danielle Robinson added 12 points and freshman center Nicole Griffin scored 11 for the Sooners (19-7, 9-3 Big 12), coming off an 86-45 loss at No. 2 Connecticut on Monday.
Kathleen Nash and Chassidy Fussell scored 17 points each for Texas (17-9, 6-6), and Tiffany Moore added 13 points.
Robinson picked up three fouls in the first 11 minutes and got her fourth only 3 minutes into the second half. She totaled only 17 minutes.
Ellenberg's 3-pointer from the corner gave Oklahoma a 30-point lead less than 8 minutes into the second half.
No. 17 Wisconsin-Green Bay 77, Wisconsin-Milwaukee 59
MILWAUKEE (AP) - Kayla Tetschlag scored 25 points and Celeste Hoewisch added 14 as No. 17 Wisconsin-Green Bay clinched a share of the Horizon Conference title.
The Phoenix (25-1, 14-0) have won 16 straight games overall, and 23 straight in the conference.
Green Bay led most of the game, but could not put Milwaukee (9-16, 6-8) away. The Panthers cut the lead to 57-49 with 10:24 remaining when Sami Tucker scored on a driving layup and was fouled, and she made the free throw to complete the three-point play.
Green Bay went on an 11-2 run to grab a 68-51 lead with 5:36 remaining when Hannah Quilling hit two free throws. Milwaukee could get no closer than 12 the rest of the way.
Lindsay Laur led the Panthers with 17 points and eight rebounds, while Tucker added 14 points.
No. 20 Iowa State 71, Colorado 45
AMES, Iowa (AP) - Kelsey Bolte scored 17 points and Lauren Mansfield added 13 to help No. 20 Iowa State cruise to its fourth straight conference home win.
The Cyclones (18-8, 6-6 Big 12) finished with a season-low six turnovers.
Brittany Spears had 13 points to lead the Buffaloes (12-13, 3-9). Second on Colorado's career scoring list, Spears increased her total to 1,961.
The Cyclones used a 13-0 run over a 6:51 stretch in the second half to take a 45-30 lead with 11:09 to go.
Iowa State took advantage of Colorado's early foul trouble and led 31-28 at halftime.
No. 21 West Virginia 90, Pittsburgh 79
PITTSBURGH (AP) - Madina Ali had 21 points and 13 rebounds and No. 21 West Virginia snapped a three-game losing streak.
Sara Miles had season highs with 19 points and nine assists for the Mountaineers (21-6, 7-6 Big East), who came into the game having lost five of six after a 19-1 start.
The victory was the 200th at West Virginia for coach Mike Carey, in his 10th season at the school.
Taneisha Harrison had 28 points for Pitt (13-13, 5-8), which had won four of its previous five.
West Virginia went on a 10-1 run midway through the first half and led by at least 10 from that point until there was 1:03 to play. The Mountaineers led by as many as 21 in the second half.
The Panthers set season highs in free throws attempted (37) and made (25).
Rutgers 76, No. 22 Marquette 55
MILWAUKEE (AP) - Khadijah Rushdan scored 20 points and Rutgers used a huge first half to beat No. 22 Marquette.
Chelsey Lee added 13 points as Rutgers (15-11, 8-5 Big East) snapped a four-game road losing streak.
Jasmine Collins scored 15 points for Marquette (20-6, 8-5) which has yet to beat Rutgers in seven tries since joining the Big East in 2005-06.
Rutgers' 24-1 surge buried Marquette early as the Golden Eagles missed 29 of 34 shots in their poorest offensive effort of the season. The Scarlet Knights led 33-14 at the half behind seven points each from Monique Oliver, April Sykes and Rushdan.
No. 25 Gonzaga 103, San Francisco 59
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - Courtney Vandersloot had 28 points and 12 assists, Janelle Bekkering scored 24 points and No. 25 Gonzaga clinched its seventh straight West Coast Conference title.
The Bulldogs (24-4, 12-0) used a 23-0 run stretching from the first half into the second half on the way to their 14th consecutive win. Kayla Standish added 21 points and Katelan Redmon had 16 for Gonzaga, which held the Dons scoreless for nearly 12 minutes.
Vania Singleterry scored 16 points for San Francisco (4-22, 1-11), which has lost four straight and 11 of 12 overall.
