State inspectors have removed more than 60 dogs from a breeding facility in southwest Missouri.
The state Department of Agriculture said in a news release that inspectors from the department and deputies from the Stone County Sheriff’s Department on Friday removed more than 60 standard collies and bichon frises from the facility in Crane.
The department said the license for the facility, which is called “Kneedeepincollies,” was revoked before the dogs were seized because of violations found at the site Thursday.
The dogs were being placed with licensed shelters and rescues in Missouri, including the Humane Society of Missouri.
