COLUMBIA, Mo. - Helias senior Ty Loethen was bidding to wrap up an undefeated season by winning a title Saturday night in the Class 3 State Championships at Mizzou Arena.

Loethen got a takedown in the first five seconds of his match at 152 pounds against Cole Reedy of Fort Zumwalt North and cruised to an 8-0 victory.

For most of the match, Reedy was laying flat on the mat, elbows tucked in what look like an attempt not to get pinned.

Loethen was one of four medalists for the Crusaders, who tied for seventh in final team standings with 70 points.
