COLUMBIA, Mo. - Blair Oaks finished fourth in the team standings with 103.5 points Saturday in the Class 1 State Championships at Mizzou Arena.
"We came though with it," Blair Oaks coach Tim Karsten said. "Everything fell into place. We had some ups and downs, but we battled back through them and we ended up getting that trophy."
It's the highest finish as a team by the Falcons. Their previous high finish was eighth in 2007.
Brookfield won the team title with 176, while Whitfield came in second with 143.5. Centralia finished third with 110.
But that wasn't the only history made Saturday, as five of Blair Oaks' 10 qualifiers earned medals.
