Ty Loethen of Helias will look to wrap up an undefeated season with a state title tonight.
Loethen (28-0) advanced to the 152-pound title match with a win by fall in 2:35 over Steeler Seaburn of Willard in Friday night's semifinals in the Class 3 State Championships at Mizzou Arena.
"He was really physical, he took (Seaburn) out of his element," Helias coach Travis Reinsch said.
Loethen, a senior, led 7-0 after one period before getting a takedown and the fall in the second. Loethen will meet senior Cole Reedy of Fort Zumwalt North (34-6) for the title.
"Ty is peaking at the right time," Reinsch said.
Three other Crusaders dropped their semifinal matches Friday night.
