A Jefferson City man accused of shooting and killing his wife on Dec. 17 was indicted by the Cole County grand jury on Wednesday.
Keith Kellner, 47, is charged with one count of first-degree murder and one count of armed criminal action.
The grand jury found there was enough evidence to move Kellner's case on to the circuit court level for trial.
Investigators said Kellner and his wife, Pamela M. Kellner, 44, had been recently separated. Kellner went to the fast food restaurant where she worked on a Friday night to talk with her.
