Helias' Light reflects on 500th victory

When you’ve amassed 500 wins in your coaching history, it’s understandable you might be a little fuzzy on the career details.

Such was the case for Helias girls basketball coach Doug Light after he recorded the milestone Tuesday night with the Lady Crusaders’ 58-40 win over Fatima at Rackers Fieldhouse.

“I’ve been a coach now at four schools (Union, St. Francis Borgia, Jefferson City and Helias), and it’s been a wonderful experience at all of them,” Light said.
