No. 3 Incarnate Word rolls to victory over Lady Jays

The Incarnate Word Red Knights jumped out to a 9-0 lead in Tuesday night's game against the Jefferson City Lady Jays, then put the game away with a 30-point third quarter in a 67-31 victory at Fleming Fieldhouse.

"We knew we had a really good ballclub coming in here who had some advantages over us," Lady Jays coach Shane Meyer said.

The Red Knights, ranked No. 3 in the latest Class 5 state poll released today, have a minimum of three NCAA Division I players on their roster.

In Tuesday's JV game, Incarnate Word posted a 52-35 win over the Lady Jays.
