NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Shekinna Stricklen scored 14 points and Lauren Avant added 11 off the bench and No. 4 Tennessee rallied from one of the Lady Vols' worst first halves ever and beat Vanderbilt 65-57 Sunday for their 15th straight win.
The Lady Vols (24-2, 12-0 Southeastern Conference) played their third game in seven days and were sloppy scoring only 15 points in the first half, the third-worst scoring performance for 20 minutes in Tennessee's history.
They came back with a 50-point second half keyed in part by Avant, who scored all her points in the final 20 minutes. Glory Johnson also added 10 points.
Vanderbilt (17-8, 8-4) snapped a four-game winning streak that had moved the Commodores from fifth in the SEC to second, just three games back of Tennessee. Jence Rhoads had 15 points, and Stephanie Holzer added 10.
No. 5 Duke 66, Boston College 53
DURHAM, N.C. (AP) - Krystal Thomas scored 16 points and Allison Vernerey added 15 to lead the Blue Devils over the Eagles.
Duke used a 12-2 run midway through the second half en route to the win. Karima Christmas scored 14 and Chelsea Gray added 13 for the Blue Devils (23-2, 9-1 ACC).
Boston College guard Jaclyn Thoman made five 3-pointers and led the Eagles (17-8, 4-6) with 21 points.
No. 11 Michigan State 69, Michigan 56
EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) - Kalisha Keane scored 18 points and Taylor Alton had 16 to help the Spartans beat the Wolverines before the first sellout crowd at the Breslin Center for a women's game.
Lykendra Johnson added 13 points and 11 rebounds, her eighth double-double this season, as the first-place Spartans (22-3, 10-2 Big Ten) continued to match the best start in school history before a crowd of 14,797.
Michigan State had a 10-point advantage at the break and never led by fewer than eight in the second half of its 17th win in the past 18 games against the Wolverines (14-10, 7-5).
Michigan was led by Courtney Boylan and Jenny Ryan, who each had 11 points. But the team's top 3-point threat, Carmen Reynolds, was held without a basket.
Virginia 60, No. 12 Maryland 57
COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) - Ariana Moorer scored 17 points, and the Cavaliers used a late surge to stun the Terrapins.
The Terrapins led 55-52 with 3 minutes left before Moorer scored on a drive, Simone Egwu added a layup and Franklin hit a jumper in the lane to make it 58-55.
After Anjale Barrett scored for Maryland, Whitny Edwards made two foul shots for the Cavaliers with 11.2 seconds left. Barrett then launched a 3-point attempt under pressure that bounced off the backboard an instant before the final buzzer sounded.
Edwards scored 13 points and Ataira Franklin had 11 for Virginia (14-13, 4-8 Atlantic Coast Conference).
Alyssa Thomas scored 14 for Maryland (20-5, 6-4). It was the second straight loss for the Terrapins, who shot 39 percent and committed 17 turnovers.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) - Riquna Williams scored 25 points to help the Hurricanes beat the Tar Heels.
Morgan Stroman added 16 points and 11 rebounds for the Hurricanes (22-3, 8-2 Atlantic Coast Conference), who broke open a tie game with a 10-0 run early in the second half.
Shenise Johnson had 16 points to help Miami win for the fourth time in five games. Stefanie Yderstrom added 14 points for the Hurricanes.
Laura Broomfield had 18 points and a season-high 15 rebounds for the Tar Heels (22-4, 8-3), whose five-game winning streak ended. Chay Shegog added 14 points for North Carolina.
No. 15 Kentucky 49, LSU 47
LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Brittany Henderson made a layup with 1.1 seconds left to lead the Wildcats over the Lady Tigers.
The sophomore had only four points but was able to bank in an open look. LSU, which had no timeouts, was unable to get off a desperation shot from three-quarters of the court before time expired.
The Lady Tigers (17-10, 7-6 SEC) had the ball in a tie game with 30 seconds left, but as the shot clock was winding down, Adrienne Webb was called for traveling. With 21.0 seconds left, Kentucky's A'dia Mathies slowly dribbled upcourt and held the ball until passing inside to Henderson for the game-winner.
Mathies led Kentucky (19-6, 8-4) with 16 points but didn't score in the game's last six minutes, when she had to play cautiously with four fouls.
St. John's 75, No. 16 Georgetown 71
NEW YORK (AP) - Amanda Burakoski scored 15 points and St. John's held on to snap the Hoyas' six-game winning streak.
With the game tied at 68 and 1:37 left in the extra period, Da'Shena Stevens hit one of two free throws for the St. John's. Shenneika Smith added a lay-in to make it 71-68 with 58 seconds left.
Rubylee Wright's 3-point attempt was blocked and Nadirah McKenith added two free throws to give St. John's (17-7, 6-5 Big East) a five-point lead with 29 seconds left.
Sugar Rodgers was fouled shooting a 3-pointer on the other end and she hit all three free throws to get Georgetown (20-6, 8-4) within 73-71 with 20 seconds left. McKenith was fouled and hit one of two free throws 3 seconds later.
Monica McNutt missed a 3-pointer from the top of the key with 4 seconds left ending Georgetown's hope of a comeback.
Louisville 57, No. 17 West Virginia 47
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Shoni Schimmel scored 17 points and Tia Gibbs added 11 and the Cardinals sent Mountaineers to their third straight loss.
The Cardinals (16-9, 7-4 Big East) held West Virginia (20-6, 6-6) to 26 percent shooting and forced 18 turnovers to post their fourth win over a ranked opponent this season.
Louisville broke it open early in the second half going on a 12-2 run fueled by Schimmel. The freshman hit a pair of 3-pointers during the burst and added a nifty jumper from the baseline as Louisville built a 37-27 lead.
The Mountaineers got no closer than three points the rest of the way.
Madina Ali led West Virginia with 12 points.
No. 22 Iowa State 61, Kansas State 53
AMES, Iowa (AP) - Kelsey Bolte scored 25 points and the Cyclones topped the Wildcats.
Bolte broke the 20-point mark for the ninth time in 10 conference games this season and was 12 of 12 from the free throw line as the Cyclones (17-7, 5-5 Big 12) shot 21 of 26 from the line as a team.
Jalana Childs led the Wildcats (16-7, 6-4) with 21 points and five rebounds. Brittany Chambers added 19 points.
No. 23 Penn State 80, Indiana 77
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) - Maggie Lucas had 18 points and the Nittany Lions scored the final six points to rally for a win against the Hoosiers.
The Nittany Lions (21-6, 10-3 Big Ten) have won six of their last seven games and ended a four-game losing streak in Bloomington. Julia Trogele scored 15 points for Penn State.
Indiana (9-16, 3-10) had a chance to force overtime on its final possession, but Whitney Lindsay's buzzer-beating jumper was off the mark. Jori Davis scored 27 points and Aulani Sinclair had 16 for the Hoosiers, who have lost nine of 10.
No. 24 Georgia 61, Mississippi 56
OXFORD, Miss. (AP) - Jasmine James scored 19 points, and the Lady Bulldogs rallied past the Lady Rebels.
Jasmine Hassell added 17 points for the Lady Bulldogs (19-6, 9-3 SEC).
Georgia wasted no time chipping away at Ole Miss' 31-25 halftime lead, outscoring the Lady Rebels 13-7 to open the second half.
Valencia McFarland had 15 points and Maggie McFerrin added 12 for Ole Miss (10-14, 3-9).
