A second career and a second home, ministering through church work has been a natural progression for the Revs. Mark and Chris Dumas.
At the St. Louis area church where they met and began their family, they easily filled roles like teaching, leading committees and as lay speakers. The ministry was so second nature that eventually congregation members were asking "when," not "whether," they would go to seminary.
Now they are in their eighth year serving at First United Methodist Church in Jefferson City as associate pastors.
