Lincoln men’s team sluggish from the start

Apparently one “teaching moment” wasn’t enough for the Lincoln men’s basketball team Saturday, because the Blue Tigers had to learn a tough lesson twice.

An awful start to each half doomed the Blue Tigers in their game with Pittsburg State, as the Gorillas rolled to a 85-68 win at Jason Gym.

Pittsburg State blitzed Lincoln with a 23-3 start in the first eight minutes of the second half, breaking open the contest after the Blue Tigers had worked so hard to get back into it.
