LOS ANGELES (AP) - "Glee" star Matthew Morrison recently announced that he has a duet with Elton John on his upcoming CD. But that won't be all.

Morrison said he will release the album in May, with a first single out in three weeks. His describes the sound as "very eclectic," saying he's an "old school soul" and that he drew inspiration from the music he grew up on like Dean Martin and Samey Davis Jr.
He made the comments before he performed "Over the Rainbow" at the Clive Davis pre-Grammy party.
The entertainer also said simultaneously doing "Glee" and his album got tough: "My weekends are all recording, so I haven't had a day off in a while."
The "Glee" cast has two nominations at Sunday's Grammys.
