MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - Maya Moore scored 27 points and No. 2 Connecticut needed a second-half comeback to hold off No. 17 West Virginia, 57-51 Tuesday night.
Connecticut (23-1, 11-0 Big East) overcame its second halftime deficit of the season and a 17 turnovers to beat West Virginia for the 23rd straight time.
West Virginia (20-5, 6-5 Big East) couldn't keep the momentum of a strong first half going and lost for the fourth time in five games.
Freshman Stefanie Dolson added 10 points for Connecticut.
Madina Ali led West Virginia with 17 points and Liz Repella added 13.
No. 8 Notre Dame 89, Seton Hall 38
SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) - Skylar Diggins scored 14 points in a rout for the Irish.
Jasmine Crew led the Pirates in scoring with 10 despite fouling out with 10:18 remaining in the game. Seton Hall (7-16, 0-10) has yet to win a Big East matchup this season.
Diggins added six assists, seven rebounds, and five steals for Notre Dame (21-4, 10-1), which made its first nine field goal attempts.
Notre Dame guard Kaila Turner was injured with 7:57 to play and did not return.
Kandice Green, Seton Hall's leading scorer and rebounder on the season, went down with a left ankle injury with 16:26 remaining in the first half and didn't return.
No. 10 DePaul 77, Syracuse 61
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) - Deirdre Naughton hit five 3-pointers, matching her total for the season, and finished with a season-high 19 points.
DePaul (22-3, 9-1 Big East), coming off an 89-66 loss at No. 2 Connecticut, was an impressive 13 of 23 (56.5 percent) from beyond the arc as the Blue Demons tied No. 8 Notre Dame for second in the conference.
After consecutive road losses to Notre Dame and Rutgers, Syracuse (16-7, 4-6 Big East) lost for only the second time in 16 home games. DePaul leads the series with Syracuse 5-1, 3-0 on the road, since joining the league in the 2005-06 season.
Naughton hit three from beyond the arc and Sam Quigley drained another in less than 6 minutes to key a game-breaking 18-7 second-half run. Naughton finished it with a 3 to give DePaul a 66-51 lead with 9:23 left.
No. 16 Georgetown 67, South Florida 38
WASHINGTON (AP) - Sugar Rodgers scored 25 points and the Hoyas cruised to their most lopsided win in Big East play this season.
The Hoyas (20-5, 8-3 Big East) led 43-25 at halftime and were never challenged en route to winning their sixth straight game.
The Bulls (10-14, 1-9), who have lost three straight and 10 of their past 11 games, were led by nine points from Andrea Smith.
The Hoyas defense held the Bulls to their lowest point total on the season and South Florida missed all 18 of its 3-point attempts.
The only player in double figures, Rodgers made her first five shots from the field, scored 17 points in the first half and made 7 of 11 3-pointers overall.
The Hoyas made 12 of 23 of their shots from beyond the arc.
