St. Mary's delivers $10 million line of credit

The next step in getting a new St. Mary’s has taken place, according to local elected officials and officials at St. Mary’s Health Center.

On Tuesday, St. Mary’s officials signed and delivered a performance notice and a $10 million letter of credit into escrow, authorizing MoDOT to take the next steps on a new Missouri 179 interchange near where the replacement hospital will be built.

Jefferson City and Cole County have put up $2 million each for the interchange; MoDOT has earmarked $6 million.
