Visitors to Jefferson City will soon see an increase to the city’s lodging tax after 56 percent of voters — more than 3,300 — approved Proposition A.

If you ever stay in any other cities,,just take a look at the total on your bill. They have them just as high.

The cost of the election is important. However, the increased lodging tax eill end costing the tax paying citizens of JC at least $100,000 per year per the agreement beetween the city and the proposed hotel owners. Maybre I can sell my house before my taxes go up to cover this *()&^^&%^&.
