Dear Editor:
Ameren Corporation would like to build a new nuclear power generation facility at its Callaway County site.
One of the things that made this a great nation, other than our Christian heritage, was the abundant energy resources that our Creator blessed this nation with. Thanks to actress Jane Fonda, with the China syndrome movie that convinced liberals in this country that nuclear power is dangerous, we discontinued building nuclear plants.
We as a nation have an abundance of coal that could be used for power generation, yet the liberals tell us we're destroying the planet by emitting CO2 emissions. To cut to the chase, it appears that our nation is on a path of self-destruction.
There are a few passages in the Bible that are parallel to what is happening in America today. Luke 7:31-35 ends "But wisdom is justified of all her children." Enjoy the passages!
Pray that the people of this country discontinue earth worship, get into their Bibles, and thank God for the abundant energy God has blessed us with.
