The nearly 13-mile route will run east on Missouri Boulevard and connect with the main Missouri Boulevard route at the bus shelter near Menard's, which will serve as a western hub.

Some of the main businesses and industries located on the route include Cedar Hill School, Jefferson City Manor, multiple apartments within walking distance, Ria's, Modine, State of Missouri Printing Center, AllMed, Sonoco Plastics, Thomas Jefferson Middle School, Special Learning Center, Lawson Elementary, Howerton Court, McDonalds, Best Buy and the Wildwood Crossing business area.

The High Street west route also will change Jan. 3 to allow service to the Cole County Health Department. It no longer will travel west on West Main from Bolivar Street to Dix Road.

All buses also will begin a 40-minute headway Jan. 3, changing from the 30-minute headway.
