Lincoln women improve to 9-1 with win Friday

It’s official. The Lincoln women’s basketball team is off to its best start in program history.

The Blue Tigers escaped with a 69-64 victory over Northwest Missouri State on Friday night at Jason Gym to improve to 9-1 on the season and 4-1 in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association.

Lincoln built a 35-24 lead heading into halftime and led by 18 points with just seven minutes remaining in the game.
