CROCKER, Mo. (AP) — A southern Missouri sheriff says the shooting death of a 15-year-old boy appears to have been accidental.
KSPR-TV reports (http://bit.ly/tijOEc) that Pulaski County deputies were called to a home near Crocker around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday and found the boy dead. His name has not been released, but Sheriff J.B. King says the teen was a resident of Lebanon, Mo.
King says three juveniles were playing with a 9 mm handgun when one of them fired the weapon, apparently by accident.
