Lady Jays fall to Mother of Mercy

Some might point to a late turnover dooming Jefferson City in its 47-46 loss Wednesday night to Mother of Mercy in the first round of the State Farm Holiday Invitational at Rackers Fieldhouse.

A quick glance at the stat sheet points to another culprit.

The Lady Jays outrebounded Mother of Mercy 40-18, which is a good thing for Jefferson City. But not being able to take advantage of the disparity was a major negative for the Lady Jays.
