Jefferson City struck first with its speed. Fayetteville countered with its strength. Unfortunately for the Jays, the latter prevailed.
Jefferson City opened up an 11-point advantage after the first quarter with its quickness and transition game. Eventually Fayetteville’s size proved too much as the Bulldogs came away with a 52-41 victory in the first round of the Mike Kehoe Great 8 Classic at Fleming Fieldhouse.
