Helias closes strong in win over Blair Oaks

It was the game most everyone expected — a bruising, tight battle with the final outcome not decided until the final minute.

In the end, it was the Helias Crusaders got it done late and defeated the Blair Oaks Falcons 46-36 in the opening round of the Mike Kehoe Great 8 Classic at Fleming Fieldhouse.

“It was a very physical game in an electric atmosphere,” Helias coach Josh Buffington said.
