The Russellville boys basketball team put some of its early-season struggles behind it Thursday with its first win of the season against Calvary Lutheran.

Chamois meanwhile, would like to regain some of its early season touch.

The two will battle it out at 12:40 p.m. today in the Missouri National Guard Shootout at Fleming Fieldhouse.

“It was great to get our first win,” Russellville interim coach Russ Foster said. “We’ve had some adversity here, but I couldn’t be more proud of this bunch of guys. They just kept putting one foot in front of the other.”
