Fatima girls to take on Hickman

To say the Fatima girls basketball has a hurdle to overcome is an understatement. It’s more like leaping over a mountain.

The Lady Comets (4-4), a solid Class 3 team, face a difficult task when they take on Hickman (8-1), a good Class 5 team, at 7:20 p.m. today in the sixth and final game of the Missouri National Guard Shootout at Fleming Fieldhouse.

“It will definitely be a challenge playing Hickman,” Fatima coach Dustin Hays said. “They have a couple of very good shooters and are pretty physical inside. We’re going to have to defend really well to have a chance to win the game.
