Fatima commits 24 turnovers in loss to Hickman

It’s been the magic number for the Fatima Lady Comets. And it’s not points.

Fatima coach Dustin Hays can tell if the Lady Comets won or lost by the number of turnovers they commit. And 20 is that magic number.

“In the games we’ve lost, we’ve been above that, in the games we’ve won, we’ve been below that,” Hays said.

The Lady Comets had 24 in Tuesday night’s game against the Hickman Kewpies in the Missouri National Guard Shootout at Fleming Fieldhouse.

Final score — Hickman 49, Fatima 31.
