Your Opinion: Counterproductive argument

Dear Editor:

I always read with interest, Steve Sampson’s discussion of the president of the United States.

I am an independent who has not made up my mind who I will support or vote for in 2012.

Certainly Mr. Sampson comments will be a factor. If the opposition to President Obama can offer nothing more logical than the ideas expressed in his letters, I may be driven to support Obama.

Issue-oriented letters to the editor in response to this or about other local topics are welcome. All letters should be limited to 400 words. The author's name must appear with the letter, and the name, address and phone number provided for verification. Letters that cannot be verified by telephone will not be published.
