Missouri man, woman claim 2 lottery wins in 2011

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) - Two Missouri residents are apparently very lucky.

The Missouri Lottery says Roger Hirshey, a 66-year-old Carthage man, has won his second multi-million dollar Missouri Lottery prize this year. HIrshey won a $2 million top prize on a "Mega Monopoly" ticket on Dec. 19 and claimed a $3 million top prize on a Missouri Lottery $3,000,000 Taxes Paid" Scratchers ticket in October.

The lottery says only twice in the history of Missouri Lottery has a player won two prizes of $1 million or more. A Bonne Terre man also won on two Scratchers tickets in 2010.

The lottery also says a 62-year-old Kansas City woman, has won two second-level Powerball prizes this year of $200,000. Constance Super bought both tickets at the same place, a QuikTrip in north Kansas City.
