CAMPO approves JC greenway trail extension

The Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization has approved a project to extend Jefferson City's greenway system.

According to the amendment, the project would extend from Leslie Boulevard, along the southeast side of the practice field, through the YMCA property, across Mesa Avenue, through Aurora Park and ending at Aurora Avenue.

The total cost of the project is listed as $889,049, and it is expected to be ....
