If you believe that those with a giving spirit will find the blessings come back to them, then Wendy Waters is sure to have a blessed life.

Waters, a Jefferson City resident and Ameren Missouri employee, was rocked to her core as she watched the images unfold after the devastating F5 tornado ripped through Joplin on May 22.

"I just had to do something," she said.

A little over a month after the tornado, Waters took her Suburban, loaded to the brim, to Joplin. She was overcome with grief and shock.

"I didn't think it would hit me as hard as it did," she sad. "But I cried for hours."
