Russellville fires boys basketball coach Leuckel

Russellville High School is looking for a boys basketball coach after the school fired Chris Leuckel following Thursday’s loss to Versailles.

Less than 24 hours after the Indians dropped a 51-50 decision to the Tigers at home, the vacancy was already being advertised on moteachingjobs.com, and the link to the job description also surfaced on mosports.com.

Leuckel was in his fourth year as the coach of the Indians, as the Russellville job was his first head-coaching position.
