The Angel Tree gift pickup sites have a calmer, more festive feel this year. Instead of waiting in long lines to pick up pre-bagged presents, parents visit several stations to select clothes and toys for their children.
Salvation Army volunteers serve as shopping buddies to help guide them through the process.
