JC School Board incumbents file
Wednesday, December 14, 2011
The Jefferson City School Board’s two incumbents want to serve another three-year term.
On the first day for candidates to file for next April’s board elections, current president Alan Mudd and vice president Joy Sweeney filed for re-election.
Filing began Tuesday morning for all school boards throughout the region, and nearly all boards throughout the state.
The candidate filing ends at 5 p.m. Jan. 17.
Two seats are to be filled in the April 3 election, with the highest votes determining the winners in the nonpartisan contests.
