Your Opinion: Continue tasteful Living Windows

Dear Editor:

I read recently in the News Tribune that Sam Bushman, who organizes the Living Windows event, said that this year’s event had problem with one window, but it would not happen again.

I was very happy to hear that. It seems in poor taste to me to make a scene of making a tattoo on a woman’s hip as part of Christmas joy in front of thousands of onlookers.

The Living Windows have been a very special and enjoyable event for families of small children and the delight of even older adults. I would hope that the tradition of Living Windows in Jefferson City will continue to be an evening of clean fun in a spirit of Christmas joy.
