Hundreds turn out for Wreaths for Heroes event

The air was crisp and cold, but it did not stop nearly 275 volunteers of all ages from arriving early at Jefferson City’s National Cemetery, all to lay wreaths on the graves of some of the city’s veterans for Wreaths for Heroes.
The event, in its second year, puts a wreath on each of the 1,587 graves at the national cemetery.
