Initial phase of Russellville track project done

RUSSELLVILLE, Mo. — Cole County R-1 school officials are reporting the first phase of their new track project has been completed and the second phase is under way.

Superintendent Jerry Hobbs said the rubber track surface has been installed, and the next step is striping the track, which should be done within the next few weeks.

Hobbs said the district is asking patrons to stay off the track until officials give the approval.
