Difficult test awaits for Lincoln

Fresh off its first victory of the season, a 72-67 decision over Southwest Baptist last Saturday, the Lincoln men’s basketball team gets quite the reward — a date with the top-ranked team in NCAA Division II.

The Blue Tigers face Missouri Southern State at 3 p.m. Saturday in Joplin.

The Lincoln women’s team, off to its best start in more than 15 years, hopes to keep things rolling when the Blue Tigers (5-1, 1-1) take on the Lions (5-4, 1-2) at 1 p.m. Saturday in Joplin.
