Hayselton Drive proposal tabled
Friday, December 9, 2011
A proposal for 15 single family homes on the Missouri River bluffs just east of Hayselton Drive has been continued until January.
At the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting Thursday, developer Dick Otke said the continuance was being requested because of “an unforeseen circumstance” that came up Wednesday. Otke said some concerned people have asked him to table the issue until January, which he said he did not want to do, but gave in to accommodate the requests.

Yeah right, the "unforeseen circumstance" would be because Mr. Otke wants Jefferson City to grow but the City officials want the city to die. Again I ask that Columbia officials please annex Jeff city now and help it.

I suggest Mr Otke, and Mr Chinn place their street where it should have been all the time? West Main St. Rob

If Mr Otke and Mr Chinn, had placed their box culvert in the ditch behind the house that was razed for a road to the condos back in 2005, they could have filled it with clean fill by now! Why should we be subjcted to an unsafe roadway entering our street? Rob
