The 19th annual Heisinger Auxiliary Christmas Homes Tour is running Sunday, allowing people to tour Jefferson City area homes decorated to display the holiday spirit.

Dorothy Fischer said four area homes will open their doors for the tour this year, including the old parsonage to the Zion Historic Chapel on Zion Road. Fischer said the parsonage is on the national historic register and the owner, who lives in the parsonage, is working to restore the chapel, which also will be open for tours.

In addition to the homes on the tour, Fischer said there will be four apartments at Heisinger Bluffs available for tours. The four apartments, though considered a part of the tour, are not listed on the tickets sold.

The tour will run from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, with all proceeds going to benefit Heisinger Bluffs and St. Joseph Home. Refreshments will be served from 3-6 p.m. in the Independent Dining Room at Heisinger.

Tickets are $10 and are available at Heisinger Bluffs (1002 W. Main St.), Accents (615 Jefferson St.), Petals for You (830 E. High St.), Major Interiors (712 Heisinger Road) and Super Hair (3702 W. Truman Blvd. Suite 124).

Tickets also will be available on the day of the door at the reception desk at Heisinger.
