Highway construction contracts awarded

The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission has awarded a construction contract to resurface area highways.

The eastbound lanes and shoulders of U.S. 50 in Cole County will be resurfaced for two miles from Lisletown Road to Big Meadows Road east of Jefferson City.

More than 12 miles of U.S. 63 in Osage County will also be resurfaced.
