LU prepares for fall commencement

Lincoln University’s Class of December 2011 will graduate Saturday, with the program beginning at 10 a.m. and Tonya Lewis Lee, acclaimed producer and children’s author, featured as the commencement speaker.
But commencement activities begin Friday, with the ROTC Commissioning Ceremonies at 10 a.m. in the Thomas D. Pawley III Theater (on the bottom floor of Martin Luther King Hall, 812 E. Dunklin St.).
The Nurse Pinning Ceremony is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday in the Richardson Fine Arts Center's Mitchell Auditorium, 710 E. Dunklin St.
All graduates will participate in the full commencement program at 10 a.m. Saturday in Jason Gymnasium, 809 Lafayette St.
