Lady Jays can’t slow down St. Joseph’s Academy in loss

COLUMBIA, Mo. — The Jefferson City Lady Jays hung with the St. Joseph's Academy Angels into the second quarter of Saturday’s game at the Norm Stewart Classic, only to see St. Joseph’s pull away for a 69-50 victory.

Senior sisters and University of Missouri recruits Maddie and Morgan Stock, plus juniors Sydney Stipanovich and Erin Nelson, combined for 58 of the Angels’ points in the victory.
