A new training center and administration office is being built next to Cole County Fire Protection District Station 4 on Monticello Road.

The facility is being built by volunteer firefighters who work in the building trades industries.

When it is finished, there will be enough room to have a training room where nearly 100 people can be seated. It’s possible county ambulance training could be done here as well.
