Today's the day a number of proposals and ideas will be evaluated, with some getting the green light to proceed and others possibly stalled for the foreseeable future.
As part of the Jefferson City Area Chamber of Commerce's economic development strategic plan "Transformation," several action teams developed proposals for new projects, studies and programs, including an economic development sales tax and plans for new university programs at the site of St. Mary's Health Center. Today the Transformation steering committee will go through each proposal and prioritize a list of projects that the chamber hopes to pursue.
