The Missouri Department of Transportation is holding a public hearing Sept. 22 to discuss plans to realign Missouri 133 near Meta in Osage County.
The hearing will be held from 4-6:30 p.m. in the Civic League Hall in Meta.
The realignment will require closing the roadway and detouring traffic for about 3 1â„2 months. Missouri 133 will also be resurfaced from Route B to Missouri 52 as part of a separate project that will take place at the same time.
This realignment and resurfacing is scheduled to begin in July 2012.
Also at the Sept. 22 hearing, discussions will be held about two additional area projects in the area.
