A former Jefferson City resident will be back in town Wednesday, signing copies of his book, "The Dark Ages of My Youth - and Times More Recent."
It's a collection of "150 slices of American life," Ward Degler said, written over 16 years as a contributor to the Zionsville, Ind., Times Sentinel, while he held other, full-time jobs.
Some of the columns recall his times in Missouri.
