JOPLIN, Mo. (AP) - A former McDonald County jailer who is accused of making sexual advances toward an underage girl last year now has been charged with raping a female inmate 17 years ago.
The Joplin Globe (http://bit.ly/n6WZd8 ) reports 47-year-old Terrie Zornes of Pineville was charged last week with forcibly raping a 17-year-old inmate in 1994.
Zornes is scheduled to appear in court Monday in McDonald County on the forcible rape charge. On Tuesday, he is to appear on charges of enticement, statutory sodomy, sexual abuse and sexual misconduct with someone under 15.
The second case involves a 14-year-old girl who testified that Zornes sent her porn and made inappropriate advances toward her last year.
An attorney listed for Zornes didn't immediately return a message left at his law office over the weekend.
